Chicken curry recipe

Ingredients:
To marinate:
- 8-9 chicken legs, skin removed,
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
- 2 tsp lemon juice,
- 1 tsp salt,
- 1/2 tsp garam masala.
For gravy masala:
- 2-3 tbsp oil,
- 2 medium sized Onions finely chopped,
- 8 Garlic cloves finely chopped,
- 1"Ginger finely chopped,
- 3-4 green chilies chopped,
- 2 Bay leaves,
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder,
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala,
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder,
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder,
- 1 tsp Red chili powder,
- 1 1/2 cups water.
Method:
Step 1: Marinate chicken by adding salt, turmeric powder, garam masala and lemon juice and keep it aside.
Step 2: Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and add bay leaves.
Step 3: Add chopped onions to it and fry till its turn to translucent, about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Stir in the garlic, ginger and green chilies, cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5: Now add all the dry spices- turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, mix it and cook for 5 minutes or till the masala is cooked on medium heat.
Step 5: Add the marinated chicken to the masala and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Add water and garam masala in the pan. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or till the chicken are properly cooked.
Step 7: Chicken gravy is ready to add some chopped coriander leaves.
Step 8: Serve hot or warm with roti, naan, or rice.
