Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup rice,
- 1 litre full fat milk,
- 6 tbsp sugar / as required,
- 5-6 green cardamom powder ( choti elaichi powder)
- 10-12 almond blanched and sliced,
- 10-12 cashews ( kaju).
Method:
Step 1: Rinse the rice with water and soak in enough water for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Drain the rice and keep it aside.
Step 5: Stir and simmer the milk and let the rice grains cook.
Step 6: Cooking of rice in the milk takes about approx 35-40 minutes on low flame. Stir it at regular intervals.
