Bread omelette

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
Serve: 1

Ingredients: 

  • 2 pieces of bread,
  • 2 eggs,
  • Salt as per taste,
  • 1/2 medium sized onion chopped,
  • 1 green chili chopped,
  • 2 tbsp green coriander leaves chopped,
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper.
     
            

Method: 

Step 1: Break eggs in a bowl.
Step 2: Add salt, onion, green chili, coriander leaves, black pepper in the egg bowl and mix well.
     
  
Step 3: Beat the egg mixture well and keep aside.
Step 4: In a pan toast the bread to golden ( we can use toaster also).
      
Step 5: In the pan, add 1 tsp oil on medium heat.
Step 6: Pour the egg mixture into the pan to prepare the omelette. Let it cook for a minute.
    
Step 7: Now dip the toasted bread slice in the egg mixture and flip the bread so that the plain side of the bread over omelet.
Step 8: Flip the omelet carefully by holding both the bread slices with a ladle.
 
Step 9: Cook it for another 2 minutes on low flame. Bread omelet is ready to serve.
Step 10: Serve bread omelet hot with tomato ketchup.
