Chura matar/ Matar poha Recipe

Ingredients:
- 2 cup thick poha,
- 1/2 cup peas,
- 1 small onion, chopped,
- 1 small green chili, chopped,
- 1/2 tbsp grated ginger,
- 2 tbsp oil,
- 6-8 pieces curry leaves,
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds,
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds powder,
- 1 tsp lemon juice,
- Salt to taste,
- 3 tbsp coriander leaves chopped.
Method:
Step 5: Mix and cook until onions are translucent. Add chopped green chilli and cook for few seconds.
Step 6: Add all spices, salt, turmeric powder, coriander seeds powder, mix it all and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 10: Just before serving add lemon juice and serve hot.

Method:
Step 1: Wash poha under cold water and drain it completely. Set it aside.
Step2: Heat oil in a pan.
Step 3: Add curry leaves and cumin seeds.
Step 4: As cumin seeds start to sputter mix in chopped onions and grated ginger.
Step 5: Mix and cook until onions are translucent. Add chopped green chillies and cook for few seconds.
Step 6: Add all spices, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, mix it all and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 7: Add peas or other vegetables of your choice and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 8: Add poha and mix it well. Cook for 1 minute.
Step 9: Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix. Switch off the flame. Poha is ready.
Step 10: Just before serving add lemon juice and serve hot.
